Hello, I few question about my subscription and about the promo offer what I got.

1st question in my promo offer it says 1000 international long distance minutes. That’s means every month? And which countries are included? On the website I saw China, Hong, Macau and UK was included by international minutes. So my question is which countries are included?

2nd question — it’s crazy I’m a costumer for CAN - US unlimited talk and text. But when I cross into the US I get all the time the text messages that I need a roaming for the US? Even I can use my phone there I get all the time this message .. crazy

THX folks

THX I hear you .. there are all the times “ special “ offer. I can remember when how it progressed here with PM. First I had only unlimited in BC. And must buy if I want to call someone in the rest of Canada. Then I got unlimited minutes for Canada with few GB data at 4G. Then I got the offer with more data and with 5GB for the them monthly amount. Then I got the CAN - US with 5G and 50GB a month for $10 less than my “ old “ subscription. I took this offer of course $10 less each month is a lot of money. And now I get for $1 more 75GB with Mexico and 1000 unlimited international minutes. And yeah I don’t need so much data in general. And all the other perks I can also not use. It’s too bad ..

I would suggest: why spend extra $1/month or $12/year plus tax on gobs of data you will never use?

That money could be used to buy a non-expiring international long distance add-on or a travel esim (e.g. for Germany) which you could use. I find that a lot of people end up paying too much for data which they cannot use and then lament not being able to downgrade to a cheaper plan to save money.

I believe there will always be opportunities in the future to buy bigger plans with more data, more long distance or possibly more roaming in more counties for about the same price today. Look at the trend with Freedom Mobile which has quickly progressed from Canada to Can-US to Can-US-Mex to global roaming options. Pay for what you only need today and wait for something that you can really use in the future. My 2 cents.

Yeah  I know I got also a lot of promo minutes. But I could use them for Europe ( Germany )  too. I have no one in this countries that I could call .. for me waste. The same is with Mexico .. until now I have the CAN - US 5G plan with 50GB data. What is more then enough for me I never ever used more then 10GB a month on data. But now with this offer 25GB more for just $1 .. bring it on. But it would be much better when I could use this minutes for Germany too. I would even give up 50% LOL. What I do I redeem every few months my points in exchange for international minutes. Then I can use them for Germany too. At least I did the last few years so

Ok then I can’t forget about the roaming text. I mean I know I had the CAN - US plan I was not worried, but every time when I go to the US I get this text. It’s crazy because they know when u leave the country and they should know that have a plan for the US why they can’t turn off this message what just goes to your phone number? Anyway

That with international minutes is a bit bad for me. And it would be the cherry on this offer Because I could use / need this to make calls to Germany. But anyway I will take this offer where I get 25GB data more for just one dollar.

The advice below is correct.  I just want to add that the 1,000 minutes in that plan renews every month. So you can talk up to 16.6 hours to any of the listed countries every month, which is a lot. You may wish to consider buying a long distance add-on for the particular country(ies) that you call. Any unused minutes roll over and do not expire. I still have about 1,370 Holiday long distance minutes from about 3 years ago which I still have not used up. Good luck.

1. China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, and the UK

2.that is a default text sent to every PM customer who is in US, whether you have the roaming plan/addon or not.  You can simply ignore that
