Assistance to port in landline number

How to check porting status ? after I signed up my SIM was activated, but cannot receive SMS as porting not completed... the old landline has no SMS so I don't know if porting was initiated. Without SMS I can no longer login to my account because 2FA sends a code to the email and after that a 2nd code to the number which has no functioning SMS. How am I supposed to log in to my account ?

As other have said it can take up to a week for the port to complete. But be aware that they will call you to confirm that you want to port the number to another provider. It's normal done by text with cellphone but with a landline they call you. That what bell did when I transferred mine.

Porting from Landline takes as many as 7 days to complete 

there is a porting assistance team you can call and ask for update.  I can't post the number here, but I will message the number to your community inbox.  Please check and call them

No 2FA code will be sent to your landline. Porting landline will take about 3 to 7 days to complete the porting.

Your landline will continue to work until porting is completed. Once porting is completed, you can access your account online or the PM app.

If porting is completed and if you can’t access your account. Contact a CS_Agent to help you access your account.

I read a post where somebody was in the similar situation as you. The answer was just to wait and it should work. Try making a call/text or having somebody call/text you. Data should follow after a few days.  Good luck.
