Purchased the sim card two months ago so far 50$ plan for 8gb but it's asking for the payment for the 20th to be in the account again after we paid last month's on time and the month before it's making me purchase more data if I want online so why is it not using the regular 8 Gb I paid it's only says I have 1000 MB I should have 8000mb

@brandonz01 sometimes public mobile sends incorrect texts. just go by your self serve and not the text message.

another option other than to buy add-ons. is to contact customer support and just renew your plan. if you decide to proceed with this process you will have a new renewal date, starting from the date the mods renew your plan.

@brandonz01 probably some apps updated themselves without you knowing that. You need to restrict apps to do that via phone data in your device's settings.

Make sure to disable auto updates for apps and turn off GPS.  Also turn off notifications for social media like Facebook and Twitter.

Hi @brandonz01 ,

Does your self serve account show the $50 plan? My looks like this:

As for your data usage...

Your phone can be set to match the start date of your billing cycle of your Public Mobile account. Make sure these dates are in line, so that if your phone is set to prompt you of any warning limits it will be much more accurate than if your dates are not matching.

Mine is found under: Settings\Network\Mobile data, and looks like this.

DATA on phone and setting same as PM dates

Check your data history in your SELF SERVE account and see if that all jives with what your usage is.

If you are still not happy of what you should be getting as opposed with what you are using contact the Moderator_Team via private message using this link.

@brandonz01

In your self service account, in your add on section, what does your data tracker show?  If you don't see the data tracker for 8GB, that means you ran out this cycle.

Your phone data tracker is likely on a monthly cycle, while PM data is every 30 days, so the trackers may not been in sync.

You can also check your data usage history in your self service account to see what has been used recently.
