I signed up for the 6 GB data plan that costs $23/month. I want to change to the plan that has 1 GB data for $19/month. How do I do that?

Hey there, PM only allows you to change to whatever plans you see available to your account. Typically they dont offer plans that are lower than your current plan price, as they only want you to upgrade. If you dont see the plan available to you, you wont be able to change to it. One workaround others have tried, is switching to the lowest plan available to them, and then waiting for a promotional offer, but this is up to your own discretion.

@MaryRastall Log in to your account and go to "change subscription", if that plan is there then select it and then select "change on renewal" (not "change now" or you'll lose the rest of your current plan with no refund).
Having said that, chances are you won't see it offered in your account as it is less expensive than your current plan which seems to be a new policy. If you're interested, there is a $100 a year plan on Telus (works out to $8.33 a month) with a promotion that gives unlimited calling and texting plus 2GB of data a month for the next year. After that it reverts to not such a good deal but then you can look around and see what's available elsewhere. Here's the link
