Going on 8 days now, still no port

I've sent many pms to mods, and filled out many support tickets via 'Contact Us'. No response from the mods, and no email within 48 hours. I cannot receieve calls, and I cannot text anyone who does not have a number registered with Public Mobile. I can, however, access data. Good thing my credit card was charged...

 

All passive aggressiveness aside though, I had hoped this would sort itself out by now, but I guess not. I understand that Public Mobile must be swamped with requests, but to still have people waiting upwards of a week for a port to happen is ridiculous. The fact that there is minimal communication between people waiting for a port and Public Mobile is also sad.

Ugh. That sucks. They already billed me for the 3 months though, and I can't evn get one month of proper service? Is there any way to get something back?

I'd guess two to three weeks backlog minimum.

 

Hopefully I'm wrong.

Thanks for a response. I tried what was suggested in the post. It says that I've already created my profile (and this is true, I have). As much as I hate to admit it, it looks like I'm just going to have to wait this one out even longer. Any idea how long something like this could take? Obviously the backlog is pretty big.

While waiting for the moderators you could try this suggestion:

Also, try your old SIM. It it's working just use it until the port-in finishes. Do not cancel your old account.
