When I logged in my account days ago with the new system, I happen to find that my phone number has been changed to a new one. I do not know if I can get my previous number back because it is very very very important to me. Thanks.

Thanks @John_P for the update. So, the initial porting expired and hence PM assigned you another number
It is great you get the number back. This time is real and you won't loss it again

Support did come back to me. The number has come back to the original provider. They can port the number for me again. Thank you for your kind help

@John_P did support come back with the reason of the phone number change? was it because of a voided port for over 30 days? or you accidentally changed the number?

another reason that happen is a failed porting request
did you join PM last month with a porting request? if you did, likely you didn't reply YES to a text from previous provider and it was on hold for a month, and expired
To get it back, check with your old provider if the acocunt i is still active. if it is, you can re-request porting once more. Let us know and we will advise further

Add you can change your phone number yourself in my account to a new number 4x each 30 day cycle for free fyi
