The current price is $10 for a Freedom Mobile sim card. But, if signing up to a prepaid Freedom plan, a full month of service will also have to be paid for and will be lost as soon as the port back to Public happens. Signing up to a Freedom postpaid plan is possible, and that would result in only a prorated partial month's charge, but the customer would also have to go through the hassle of a credit check.

I tried, but no luck. But I also admit to not entirely pushing for it.
I should

@spaceman You can but try. Who knows PM may take pity on you.

Good luck.

hey
I wondered the same. But i just switched over a few weeks ago. You could be still get the promo if you switched over within 7 days. I wonder if they would make an exception, possibly.
Come on, so I am out of the circle by a few weeks. I haven't even been with PM for a whole month yet

I don't see why not? But you will need new Public Mobile sim and you will be loosing your current Public Mobile account, plan and any rewards or balance you have. Plus, the payment you will make to freedom.
