Flip Phone Supported?

I want to switch my father to Public Mobile.  He has an LG B470 flip phone.  Will he be able to send/receive calls if a PM sim card is installed?  Anyone currently using this phone successfully with PM?

Yes, his flip phone will work on 3G at 850 MHz and 1900 MHz frequencies for making and receiving calls.

It will be good until 2025 when 3G will be decommission and he will need a new phone.

3G:

Bands 5(850), 2(1900)

Put the PM sim in the phone and try it.
