Never any extra charges here. If you didn't complete the port before the subscription renewed, you're out that money unfortunately. I would always advise initiating the port a couple days before the subscription renewal to avoid this situation.

@esimeissue No such thing as extra charges at PM. I suspect what happened is your plan renewed before you ported out. If you believe it was an error on PM's part contact them at the link below:

@esimeissue porting to Rogers should have automatically closed off your Public Mobile account. Contact support agent and ask them to look into it.
You will need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:
