I mistakenly deleted my public Mobile phone number as the Eversafe number to be used for two step verification. When I try to re-enter the same phone number, an error message appears saying "Login Failure" and no sms message is being sent out for verification.
How can I re-enter my phone number to the Eversafe profile?

This problem required the assistance of CS agent where the issue was taken over by a technical support person that needed to correct a malfunction on the Eversafe website that erroneously locked me out from making an updated entry of my 2FA telephone number by displaying the "login failure" error message.
In the end the problem was resolved by the technical support agent.

Any new number I try to enter results in the same error message. The system appears to have blocked any attempt to add a phone number

are you still able to login My Account and able to update the EverSafe Profile? If you do, can you try enter another phone number there first (a number that you can receive SMS), then wait a week and go back to the EverSafe page to update back to the correct phone number
