When an existing Public Mobile customer signs into their My Account for the first time since the Update they are prompted to update everything as if they were creating a new Account. (Name, Password, etc.)
My question is why can't we keep our current passwords, being forced to change them when signing in for the first time.. When trying to change it to the one I have and liked, it says I cannot use the password. I had to use a different one, than go into EverSafe ID settings and put it back to what it was.
Why is it making everyone update their Passwords and personal details upon the first sign in, why can't we keep our current and secure passwords?

@softech .I had to change my password first day with ever safe ID too . Just did it and moved on . Phone remembers it anyways. So I didn’t care to change it back . Good to change passwords up from time to time anyways . So was like a blessing in disguise

unless the policy is new, EverSafe didn't ask me to update those things when i first login. But as you would have guessed, i seutp on EverSafe on Day 1, early part of day 1 🙂

That's what i mean, if it just let's us change it back to what it forced us to change it from.. why couldn't we have just kept what it originally was from the beginning?
There should be an option to update password when signing in for the first time since EverSafe, sure.. however there should also be an added option to keep your current password as an option..

But after putting a new password, when I go into Eversafe ID Settings I am able to change it back to the one I had previously set, which it forced me to change it from..
I noticed it's also not all accounts, as a few Friend Referrals who I've assisted also signed right in for the first time since the update with the same password as before, not requiring an Update.. so it's very odd why it only requires a password update for some accounts..

@Priority after your create a new password for ever safe . Just go log back in and change back to the password you prefer . Extra step and unnecessary hassle but still doable

It didn't for me - I used the same passwords from the old to the new.
I wonder if it's possible there were some password rules in effect on the new system that your old password didn't qualify for. 🤔
