Esim was not added properly during activation and unable to use the QR code in confirmation Email

Hello, 

 I purchased a prepaid plan with esim activation earlier today and intended to port a number from Bell. During the process, payment was successful and i downloaded the Public mobile app to activate, upload esim and port my Bell number. I have an iphone and the PM app prompted the esim activation page and i continued with all the steps. I also replied YES to my number port message from bell. However, after i restarted my phone, i got an error for the esim and it deleted the esim from my phone (Showed SOS). I tried to re-add the esim from the confirmation email but the qr code did not work (got a message saying unable to activate esim, please contact service provider). Now im in a situation where i no longer have access to my old Bell number (one i ported to Public) and no way to reupload my esim. Please Help!!

Yup, the app is just a little confusing but the "subscription and add-ons" button in the left side pop-up (pops up by clicking the + button) allowed me to purchase esim and it immediately activated it on my phone. Thanks for reply and thank you to the agent b/c i was freaking out that i had no access to my number haha.

So, you can still use the app to login and buy esim again?

Had trouble finding the purchase esim for $5 with tax on the app (found it on the web browser but it didnt allow esim purchase for me just physical sim) but the agent from my ticket helped me find it. They also offered a credit for the cost of the additional esim. New esim works fine no issues adding it this time.

you should not delete the eSIM.  I am not sure if support agent can send you new one for free.  But please check with them.  Please submit a ticket with CS Agent here:
