Esim stuck in "activating"

Purchased an esim due to my old sim card being damaged.

Now the esim is stuck "Activating...". 

I have an Iphone 11 plus if that matters.

If you are trying to port from a physical Sim from another provider to an esim at public you need to first port from physical to esim with your current provider.  Public supports esim but transfers only work esim to esim
