*what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again. to you sure getting the SMS, sometime is will miss it...

Make sure that you have the old SIM card in your phone when you're porting your number. You should get a SMS message from your old carrier asking to confirm if you would like to port your number. Your reply should be: YES.

The confirmation message can take a few minutes to come in. You have 90 minutes from the time of request.

Good Luck and your welcome to Public Mobile

with a Beautiful Service

you will be very happy..

Each PM account has to have different emails.

As suggested you can use One email with different aliases (so ALL emails will end up in One mailbox) or create separate emails for each account.

My preference is separate accounts as it is easier to track emails from PM particularly if multiple family members participate in Community.

Creating free email accounts has become more tricky these days as gmail, hotmail, yahoo require from you to provide your actual cell phone number which might not want to do.

There are still few providers not requiring that like mail.com

@edjimenez  Since email are free to create one, maybe you can setup a new Gmail or hotmail for this new account ?

@edjimenez

At PM, each account requires a separate email address.

Using an alias is very convenient if you're opening another account for yourself or for a young child since all emails from PM will go to the main email account. Keep track of those aliases though in case you need to login to the separate self-serve accounts (although you may use the same password, it would be more secure to use passwords with slight variation for easy recall)

@edjimenez  for Gmail use the + or . Tricks for aliases:

Name@gmail.com is the same as na.me@gmail.com is the same as name+134@gmail.com

I prefer the + option personally

Yes, you do. Every new Public Mobile account requires a different SIM card and email address as a username.

You can use an alias of your existing email, if that makes it easier. For instance GMAIL has the option of using alias email addresses.

EDIT:  and don't forget to use your referral code, which can be found on your self-serve landing page, towards the activation of the new account.  It'll save you $1 per cycle and the new account holder $10 against their second cycle payment.
