EZF_guy

Hi There,

I just purchased an Easyfone Prime a1 with a Public Mobile plan... Here's what's going on...

SMS working

Web-browser working

MMS not working... can't send or receive picture messages

Here are my network settings

Username: Blank

Password: Blank

Access point: sp.mb.com

Gateway: 74.49.0.18

Port: 80

Rename: Public mobile

DNS: 009.009.009.009

Network Type: HTTP

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Thank you. Works now!

Hi, thank you, it worked.

I chatted with the chat bot and it gave me the instructions to set up the APN.

I had previously neglected to set the homepage to the aliasredirect site given. Including that in the settings makes it work!

Thanks!

was data turned off? I am assuming that fixed your issue?

For MMS to work DATA has to be ON even though data will not be used.

@EZF_guy

Maybe try rebooting your phone.  Network reset of phone.

This phone does not seem to have 4G bands, only the necessary 3G bands.

Check the APN Settings of the phone.

One correct version:

@EZF_guy

Ensure data is toggled on.

Try manually switch into 3G Network.

Also make sure any RCS services, (such as Android chat or iMessage) is disabled.

EDIT:  @EZF_guy   Also try removing the SIM card, then reinserting it. If none of this helps, contact support staff as they may be able to reprovision the SIM:
