Does Public Support exist?! Why can’t my mom call?

Just swapped here and holyyyyy this is confusing and rough. Is there no support to chat or call at all? Wouldn’t have ever swapped if I knew how alone you are if you have issues. I have people that can’t call me and it just goes right to an error message. Been here for almost 2 weeks and I can make outgoing but some (not all) can’t call even when they’ve removed all old numbers for me and only have the up to date one. Also wtf are labels. Took me half an hour to figure one out that would let me post. Everything gives errors.

Old providers eSIM has been properly removed everywhere. Spoke with Apple Support on this last weekend. Only eSIM across all settings is PM one.
My contact is updated in my mom’s phone with my number. She also can type my number in to call but then it also says number is not assigned.

OK. So when you call your mother, does the PM temp number show or does "your" number show if that question makes sense?

If your number shows, then delete the old provders esim. Make sure you delete the correct one. Then there should only be the pm esim. Then reboot. This will set the pm esim as primary automatically, I'd assume depending on your phone.

sounds like the account wasn't provisioned successfully...you'll need to contact Customer Support for their help. Use this link if you can't access your account...

Hi Samsung. Did not work. I have tried to reboot network settings 4 times now. Old eSIM is not active. Just did it again and I called my mom, worked, she called back “number is not assigned”. It’s been 11 days since I moved to this new eSIM

Hey there.

So, let's start with this. Public mobile is self serve. These forums are your first point of contact to get help. This forum is all customers. To contact a customer service agent, if you can log in, it's the little chat bot in the bottom right corner. If you can't, then we can provide a direct link to reach them.

So, you ported from another service provider? Does their sim card still work? If yes, the port didn't work. If no, then the port somewhat worked but you may need to clear your network settings and reboot. This clears any network info from your previous provider and installs pm's network info. Give this a try and come back if it doesn't work.
