dialing the US

Just got a Cdn/Mexico/US Public Mobile acct.  We have a Cdn phone number but we're in Mexico and I want to dial a US number.  I've done 011 and +1 area code and number but it doesn't go thru as advised.  What is the correct procedure?

I'm not sure if you can call the US from Mexico. Maybe, but you may be limited to calling Canada and Mexico while in Mexico; then by extension when you're in the US you could call the US and Canada, but not Mexico.

I could be wrong, but that may be why it's not working.

It is technically a long distance call.

Did you hold down the + button on your phone? Hold it for about 2 seconds untill you see the plus on your phone, then the area code and number.

Record your passwords and such and then reset networks as they will be deleted and see if the call will go through.
