Do i have to wait for my renewal date to be able to use data again?

So i made a 'payment' to my account (which apparently gets put into 'avaliable funds' instead of making an actual payment; im learning-new to all this) and the avaliable funds are the amount that is due. (My renewal date is March 8th) I ran out of data about 3 weeks ago and I already purchased an add on and used that up. I was just wondering, do I have to wait for my renewal date for my data to be avaliable to me or there is a way to make a payment FOR MY PLAN (the grandfather plan; 120/3 months)
Help please ! I'd like to be able to do my banking when im on road !

If you have an iPhone be sure wifi assist is OFF. Otherwise, cellular data is used when wifi signal is weak; even when you are logged onto wifi.

looks like you are stuck buying another addon... for future you might want to restrict a lot of your apps to reduce your usage; background data can eat a lot of unwanted data. 

Id recommend looking at your current usage history and see what are the big culprits and reduce them.

@Bantoine  Unfortunately the only way to get data once you get it used up is to continue to but addon packages until your plan renews.

OR switch plans mid plan which would wipe out anything you had before and start anew, but then you would lose your plan.
