I've been with PM for about a month now. One issue I can't solve is the never ending voicemail notifications.
I haven't received a voicemail yet but there is a notification within the voicemail service that I can't delete (not a voicemail, but a 'notification' as mentioned by the automated voice).
I have tried the extended greeting solution and hit '5' to ensure no one can leave me a message. But I can't get rid of the notification on my phone. Clearing the phone cache and stopping the service only removes until my phone goes in or out of airplane mode, restarts etc.
I use WhatsApp, text etc. I have zero interest in getting voicemails these days. What can I do? And why is a complete disabling not possible?

@Jordan- I had that issue once. It went away on its own after about 2 days. But it drove me crazy during that time as to why it was there.
But if you did everything and it's not going away, send a message to a cs agent at the link below so that they can reset your voicemail options from their end.

Do you have an iPhone?

@Jordan- Interesting! Try leaving a new voicemail by calling from another phone and see if you get that in order to delete.

Thanks. But when I call the voicemail, the first thing it says is 'you have no messages'.

Thanks. I have cleared the cache and force stopped it. The 'app icon badges' under Phone Services are turned off. The notifications under the sub-category of Phone Services is on but greyed out.

Have you tried clearing the app cache and data @Jordan- ?
You can also remove the notification badges from displaying on the app through your app's notification settings.

The only way to clear the voicemail notification is by getting rid of all unread messages. If you don't care about them, simply press 1 to listen and press 7 to delete. That should get rid of the notification.

Thanks. But as I mentioned, that doesn't remove the notification. Any other ideas? I have a Samsung A34, if that helps.

Voicemail cannot be turned off or removed, however there is the following workaround to prevent callers from leaving messages:
