Hello, 

It's been 7 working days and I haven't received my sim card, can someone please tell me what can be done now??

If you are trying to contact the Moderators you cannot do it with SIMon bot without an account.

But you can contact them via Private Message here:

There are actually 3 "avenues" here at Public Mobile:

 

  1. When you order a SIM through Public Mobile you are not creating an account of any sort. Public Mobile is just taking your payment and shipping you a SIM card for your order.
    1. By the way try entering your order number into the Canada Post tracking site: https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/track-reperage/en#/home
    2. IF there is a traceable track you should be able to see where this shipment is at. But it could have gone regular letter post...so snail mail, it is!
  2. Community Account: with username you make up:esjliv_0-1618011290081.png

     

  3. Self Serve Account: created when you Activate a Public Mobile SIM card:
    1. https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/
    2. https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/self-registration/ (used to create after activating in-store)

If you want to ask the moderators to confirm the order has been fulfilled and shipped, here's how to contact them:

 

To contact a moderator, there are 2 methods:

 

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type moderator, then select contact us, then select you need a human now.  Follow the prompts to submit a ticket,  or, 
  2. Send a private message to the moderator by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

 

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

These days if takes a bit longer to receive it. It's been like for a year now. If you don't get it 3 weeks after placing the order please contact moderators by private message to Moderator_Team.

If you are in rush you could walk into a store and get it right away. Sometimes they even give it free if you will activate there (you can use your friend's referral code in store too). You could call your local Walmart and see if they have the promotion.

I never thought of saving a second SIM for a referral... great idea Dunkman!  🙂

Due to Covid and restrictions, the shipping time has been longer the last several months.  About 2-3 weeks wait for some customers unfortunately.  Maybe wait another week and if no SIM card, you can contact moderator.  

 

If more urgent, you can go in store to purchase a SIM card.  Vendor like Walmart, Mobile shop (inside superstore), London drugs, Wow mobile, some authorized Koodo dealers.  Then you can save the mailed SIM card for a future referral.

Sorry, but unfortunately, 7 working days often isn't enough time for mail delivery these days. Please allow a few weeks.

With the Easter Long Weekend, I'd suggest waiting until just after the weekend because of potential delays with the holiday.

 

I noticed COVID has slowed down all mail deliveries that doesn't help your case either.  If not, then you can reach out to a Moderator to see what's going on.
