Desactivation or my voicemail

How do I deactivate my voicemail. I don’t need it, and with my old provider I needed to call my provider to get deactivated .. how does it work with public mobile

You cannot really disable it but you can use extended absence recording and stop people from leaving voicemail

• dial into your voicemail and log in with your PIN. 
• In the main menu, press 3 (manage greetings),
• then 4 (manage extended absence greeting),
• then 2 (record a new extended absence greeeting) and record a message that indicates to your caller you are not accepting messages. 
• Then press 4 to turn on extended absence
• Finally, press 5 to dissallow anyone to leave you a message.

technically you can't disable voicemail .. but there is workaround;

to "disable" voicemail, on your dial pad dial: *004*8080000000#
This will cause all calls to either ring forever or get fast busy at the point they normally would have been diverted to the voicemail system.

To reset it back to defaults, dial ##004#

Well you can go to the settings option, then to apps, phone, live voicemail and turn it off. But there will still be voicemail though. 

Another option, as stupid as it sounds is to fill your voicemail so nobody can leave you a new message. 🙂

Hello @Anick14 

You can not deactivate your voicemail with Public Mobile. Customer service do not have the ability to turn it off. All you can do is not allow callers to leave a message through the extended absence option.
