Hi! I’m from Sarnia On and lately my data hasn’t been working well at all. Anyone one else experiencing the same problem?

HI @Crissyls   , is your data not working at all or not working well?

 

You didn't change phone, I guess? 

 

Is the data still not working well when you are outside of your usual area?  

 

Try changing to 3G ONLY and  check if Mobile Data works better

@Crissyls  - does toggling into Airplane mode, than back to regular mode help?

Also, restart your phone.

And you can remove and reinsert your SIM card.

 

Above are things that may help reset network issues on a device level.

 

If there are system wide issue in you local area, the above may not help.

So, try your SIM into another phone to see if the issue persists.

@Crissyls , is the data issues coincident with low signal strength?  It is possible that local towers are having spurious outages leading to connection to towers further away, causing congestion and less than ideal signal strength.  On and off issues are really difficult to troubleshoot.

All is good in York region. Maybe some cell tower maintenance? You never know... Weather disturbance..?

Log into self service and look under My Data & Add-ons and see if you have data left?

 

Try resetting network settings.

 

Check your apn settings.
