@Jon420 , if data isn't working right away, it usually means the APN settings need attention. The Public Mobile APN settings are as follows. Search settings to locate where to enter/edit.

@Jon420 you probably need to set up your son setting. They should look like this

There is a similar article for iphone

Of if curiousity, is it an LG phone. They usually require a network reset when swithing providers. Sometimes even a back up and restore the whole device.

What type of phone are you using?
What version of the OS?
When did you activate your sim?
What plan are you on?
What works and what doesn't (calls in/out, texts in/out, data)?
