My phone is plugged in and charging at home on wifi.
The phone has not left home or the wifi signal in over a week.
Yet, over this last week, it has been using Mb data. Why?

Ensure that data is not using background processes with apps.
Ensure that any Wi-Fi assist programs are not toggled on; this could cause you to use mobile data when Wi-Fi signals are weak.
If you have a data limiter set, it could be toggling off data once you have reached a preset/defined limit. This option is available on most devices and causesome to 'believe' they've exhausted all their available data when they have not.
Lastly, make sure you do not have a hotspot set on your device which may allow others in your vicinity to access data through your device.
