Data stopped working out of nowhere

I haven't changed anything in anyway. Not at my limit, reset my phone, network settings, ejected sim card, etc. iOS10 on iPhone 7, everything worked great until about 2 hours ago. Any ideas?

Nexus 5 has known glitch. You need to delete apn and manually re-enter it.

It was nice knowing you 😞

Can confirm also not working on my previous phone (Nexus 5x). Recognizes SIM card, shows correct APN settings and Public Mobile as carrier, but no data.

Service is active, 700MB/6000MB data used.

Was willing to give PM a shot, but having this happen and no support to fix it is going to be a deal breaker -- will go back to Koodo tomorrow.

Thanks for the help!

Maybe you've moved around, outside the range of data-carrying towers.  Maybe there's a service outage in your area, no data for anyone until something gets fixed.  Maybe a high-priority emergency/broadcast call in your area is hogging and locking out all the data channels.

Solution to these problems would be to move into range of a working tower.  If you see other iPhone users playing with data next to you but still cannot connect then you'll know it's not the tower.

Can't imagine how APN settings would reconfigure themselves - aside from Apple's notorious updates constantly mucking around with software in the background.  Maybe your APN settings are fine, maybe not - just check them, correct them if needed, and reboot the device.

Try your SIM in another phone.

Login to your account to confirm service is "active", data is still included and not used up.

Cellular data on?

If it's still a problem in the morning do one, or all, of the following:

- post your issue to PM on Facebook/Twitter

- send tech support the webform found by following the "buttons" in this link, https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help

- send a private message to any moderator with your phone number and a description of what has happened, but given their backlog it will likely be several days before they respond.

Here's the Apple troubleshooting guide, but I think you've done it all.

Did you reboot? 🙂

Never had that kind of problem with my 7. Could the apn settings have been changed by accident?
