Data not working; restart is useless, ANA settings may be involved

Hello,

My data has become very unstable since perhaps last week. It seems to be not working by default. The error code returned from a browser is "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET". I am sure no proxy is running in background to result this. The text messaging seems to work fine, though.

It's noteworthy that the data symbol in the status bar appears normal - network speed constantly changes as usual despite connection failures.

To solve, I've tried restarting the phone. It doesn't work. I checked my subscription. Nothing is wrong. Then, l went to check the ANA settings and they were obviously left untouched. Curiously, when I switch to the other unusable options and then switch back, it CAN solve the problem somehow and restore data use. Only briefly - soon it can fall back to connection errors. This doesn't always work, though. Just occasionally.

Looking forward to hearing your help.

Looks like the "I" got dropped. APN should be  isp.mb.com 😉

@Jagabee775

is it just data does not work but voice calls are working?

what is the brand and model of the phone? some phones have the edit APN button hidden, a trick is to use another sim card to open up the edit buttom, many suggest to use a Freedom sim card

and FYI, update the APN according to this:

APN: sp.mb.com

APN roaming protocol: IPv4

I didn't find the edit option, but I need to make one correction:

It was APN (Access Point Name) settings, not ANA.
