Data issues today (March 11, 2026)

Hello,

My data doesn't seem to be working. Calls are fine though.

Are there any known issues today?

I've already tried restarting my phone, turning data off/on, etc

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sorry guys, false alarm.

I had removed my SIM card earlier in the day and after I put it back in, was no longer set as the Primary SIM.

I made it the Primary SIM again and data is now working as expected.

Thanks to everyone who replied!

hi @Tuna1223

time has changed.  You were paying half back then, partially is the rewards.

The low end plans might be more expensive.  But the mid-tier plans and above are way cheaper,  people are getting more than double the data .  It was  used to be $25 for 1GB, now people getting $23 for 2GB, $26 for 5GB.  And if you wait for deals, you get $25 for 20GB or $26 for 25GB

Before Telus took over, I was getting PM basic service for about half the rate I am paying now. My package included 150 LD minutes and a minimum amount of data, maybe around 2meg/month. Through incentives I also gained 2G of data which rolled over monthly and was to be used up at my discretion. I finally used up the last of that data 2 weeks ago and my data stopped working entirely. When I logged in to my account, it seems if I want data now, I have to take the minimum (5G) at $20 every month which with tax will bring my monthly likely to over $40/month. This is close to 4x the amount I was paying just over a year ago. If I'm missing something here, please fill me in. Otherwise, it's time to shop around. PM is definitely not the same as it was when I first enrolled in it.

Have you logged into your account to make sure you didn't use up all your data?

That happens.

Is text working fine

Might want to try a network rest of phone.  Note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords.
