Hi
my data is not working on my iPhone 8 Plus
i purchased a sim yesterday afternoon and it still isn’t working. When I log into my account it says active. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I didn't see if you mentioned whether or not calling and texting was working with your account yet.
Is this a new number or a port over from another carrier?
Sometimes you might need to check the carrier settings
General->About->Carrier
Also turning on Cellular Data, LTE and Roaming could help.
Cellular->Cellular Data Options-> Enable LTE and Data Roaming
Network Selection-> Automatic
Give those settings a try and report back if it still isn't working and we'll see how we can help further.

You need to set an access point name (APN). On your phone
You may need to restart your phone. If you update your IOS version you may need to put these in again. Good luck
The APN info is case sensitive, so if there's a Capital letter use it.

I haven’t used any data what so over. It says 4.3 gb available. I went to the store I got the data and sim from and my data works in another phone. So it’s definitly my phone that’s the issue 😫

@jabiscusss18, can you screenshot your overview screen, and your usage history? It seems like it’s possible that you may have used all your data in just a couple days..
im not sure if what the previous screen shot is showing is correct, or a display error.

The 40 dollar plan with 4 gb. I can phone and text. Just data is not working
