Hope you can help me out, I am on the 250Mb data plan and my phone is basically using up all my data. I have started to check the usage each morning and I see 100 - 200 Mb used overnight always at 1.30am (or around that time). I will at home then and connected to home wifi and certainly not using my phone. I have tried resetting the iphone statistics and this shows nothing like that usage, anyone any idea what is happening ?

If it helps, you can also TURN OFF the data on apps that you are not using.

@johnboy2 - more most accurate remaining balance of your data either call 611 from your device to check your balance, or log into My Account to see the summary/overview section, or addons if you have any on your account.

 

The snapshot of your Detailed Data Usage on My Account is not the greatest to go by, yet (as upgrades affected this); so for accurate details, over 6-12 hours prior (as it takes that long to be populated in the detailed area), use the download option to see these details.

 

Install an app to track your ‘live’ usage so you can keep track. Public Mobile are 30 day plans (not monthly).

If you are android, try this one, Data Witness app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iwik.datawitnesspm&hl=en_CA&gl=US.   I use this one myself and it gives me what I need from it.

If you are an Apple user, I am sure there is a 30-day app that is available as well.

Most likely phone is doing some updates.

I would suggest to turn DATA Off during night. Unless you are on-call 24/7 there is no reason to have phone on during night. But everybody is different and circumstances are not the same....

HI @johnboy2   no worry about the time, PM only update the date twice a day.  So,  the data show at 1:30am does not really mean you use the data at that particular time, it just mean the total usage since the last update

 

And , remember to check your My Account using Incognito mode, it could be cache or cookie issue
