The Activation Portal will not be operational during Maintenance, I'd recommend reattempting in the morning tomorrow if you are able to wait.
You'll be able to pick up the Activation where you left off by signing into your Account on the App once Maintenance is finished.

Perfect. Here's the write up I did.
How to receive 2FA code via Public Mobile Phone app
Download the app via WiFi and sign in using the email you signed up with.

Click on the Didn’t get the code? Before you do though, check the box on This is a trusted device so you never have to be asked for the 2 step again on the phone.
The next window that comes up is this.

You can choose either Send Email which will go to the email you registered with or Send Voice Message meaning it will call your number and ask you to push buttons. Send Email is the option you want. It will send it to the email she signed up with. And finally... do not cut and paste it. Enter each number individually. The system is a snob and doesn't like cut and paste. 🙂

after several attempts at sending code to the phone, you'll get option to send code to your email address.

Its asking me for a 6 digit code to confirm activation but my phone is not receiving the code sent to my number
