Hi Public Mobile Team,
I am an existing customer and have been with Public Mobile for a long time. During this period, I have rarely changed my plan and have remained on my $30 plan, which does not even include data.
Recently, I tried to look for a lower-cost plan or a better option, but I noticed there are no plans below $30 available for me. At the same time, I referred my friend to Public Mobile years ago, and she was able to get a $25 plan with 5GB of data. This was quite disappointing to see as a loyal, long-term customer.
I truly expected that loyalty would be valued, it feels unfair that different customers are being offered different plans, with no consistent options for existing customers. Because of this, I am now seriously considering switching to PC Mobile.

$30 a month for 100 minutes is robbery by today's standards. You should really consider switching plans or provider. You can find a much better option at a fraction of the price.

@Katherineeeee Regardless of what carrier your with there is 3 key times a year to be on the lookout for better value plans and they are start of sept going back to school , Black Friday and x mas time you will see all carries have better options for new and existing customers I know this dosent help right this moment but keep that in mind where ever you find urself and be sure to check out the options those 3x a year and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at what you can find for example this year I downgraded from $35 plan to $30 plan that included 30GB of data CAN/US/MEX plan so good deals come and go quickly but there’s certain times these plans are more abundant . Best of luck 🤞

That is strange that there are no 4G plans on your screenshot. They are all 5G plans.
On my account, I have the option with 5G and the lower user 4G plan. Unfortunately, everyone plans in their account are different but they tend to change month by month.

Thank you. To be honest, I’m a very lazy person — I don’t like spending too much time switching service providers, whether it’s mobile or internet.
I’ve been with Rogers for 16 years, and even when the internet went down for a full day and many people switched to Bell, I still didn’t change.
But recently, I’ve become really tired of the fact that every two years I have to contact customer service and threaten to cancel just to get the same price offered to new customers. If I forget to do that, I end up paying double the price.
Honestly, most of the time customers don’t leave because they want to — they leave because they’re pushed to the point of frustration.

This has been an unfortunate reality from business, especially telecom for a long time. Businesses have very little loyalty to existing customers. In fact they've priced it out, they are willing to spend more to acquire a new customer than to keep an existing one. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but that is what they do. At least you have a good option to upgrade your plan at the same price. Keep looking from time to time and you might find a lower priced plan option available.

We can only upgrade our plan now… very difficult to downfrade. Look in your account to see options in your account as not everyone gets the same availabilty.
