@riller

Two different accounts. The self serve is your account for payments, purchases and your billing. Hour community account is for contacting customer support and communicating with them thru your private messaging and seeking help and support and communicating with fellow customers.

The link between the two is your email address. By ensuring they are the same will make it easier to verify yourself to the CSA's when asking for account changes and ensures that any community reward earned by you goes into your account as they have to match....exactly.

How does one link the community username with the "My account" PM phone number to have the rewards count for the PM account?  It seems the login is different for community forum and the "my  account" used for the real account. thanks

@Murphiles Answer the questions, provide guidance, advice, be active and add value to the community. Rewards will come😉

Just to clarify, there are different types of rewards to provide you discounts on your service.  The ones that @hairbag1 work great (usually, sometimes a bit glitchy) but are separate from the Community Rewards you referred to (which is another type of rewards).  🙂

@Murphiles...the easiest rewards to get is the Autopay Reward of $2 off your regular plan costs every time plan renews (eg $25 plan = $23 + taxes). Just need a valid credit card / debit card on your account and enable Autupay. You'll still get the reward even if you choose to pay with vouchers as long as autopay is enabled.

Another easy reward is the Refer-a-Friend Reward. If you can get a friend or family member to start a PM account and use your referral code...you'll get another $1 off your regular plan costs at renewal as long as they stay active with PM.

These rewards along with annual Loyalty Reward can add up over time.

Welcome aboard.

Hi Phil... Welcome to the Public Mobile Community!  🙂

Basically, by replying to others right here on the forums, you'll be helping the community and start working your way up to earning Community Rewards.  Some are extremely active here and will be able to earn more, but the consensus seems to be that the time commitment for getting those "top rewards" is not worth the time invested, as opposed to the lower $1-2 rewards.

You can start here with some basic information:

Otherwise, here's another thread where we discussed some of the details too...

Let us know if you have any other questions and we're happy to help too!  🙂

Partipating in the community by helping others with replies and solutions can earn you an award.  Helping others is more rewarding then the monetary award.

Based on your level of involvement with our Community, you can earn up to $20 every 30 days. The amount you are rewarded depends on your contribution level relative to overall contribution, which can change month to month even if you contribute very consistently. You can only ever qualify for one (1) Community Reward in a 30-day period, and you must act in accordance with Community Terms of Service at all times.The following table shows how Community Rewards are allocated:
