I just signed up for Public Mobile today! I was very excited until I saw I was charged twice for the month. Help me please!!!

Don't worry if you were charged twice it will be used for the next renewal, just contact the moderators.
Before you do please verify that it is not the same charge that shows up twice, once in transaction list and also in pending transactions.
Best is to get both transaction numbers, it will be useful if you have to talk to moderators.

@Naepalm Please do not recommend customers the shortcut to create a ticket. Let them go through the bot and provide as much details as possible. If they don't follow that, the ticket will not be categorized correctly.

@Mallory-harris1 Can you login to your self-serve account and post a screenshot of the payment history? Be sure to hide any personal details. I am curious to know what went wrong and you were charged twice. Also, please report the transaction date and amount you were charged on your cc.

Best to contact the moderators, I hope you were able to sign up for the free 30 days as well today. If you missed that I would also contact the moderators regarding that and let them know you missed it by accident as well.
If you paid twice most likely, just as everyone else has said you will have a credit for the cost of your plan on your account. It will show in your overview page in your self serve account:

@Mallory-harris1 If you are looking at your cc activity it's possible that the second charge was a holding charge that will go away.
To verify check your payment history via your online selfserve account are there 2 top-up charges?

@Mallory-harris1 Welcome to PM. Please log into your self-service account or dial 611 and see if there is a credit there for the extra charge. If there is, it's better to leave it for your next cycle renewal date since it takes approximately 30 days to get a refund.
If there isn't sometimes there are 2 charges on your credit card, one pending and the actual charge. The pending one will disappear. Stay safe.

Go into self service. Look at available funds. Are there funds there? If so they will be used for renewal.

Do you have the extra amount you paid in your Available Funds? If so then you've now paid for your next renewal.

Sorry to hear about that. You will have to contact the moderators and what they will do is credit you the amount for your next renewal.
To contact the moderators you need to click on the "?" in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. This will take you to SIMon the chatbot and there you will follow the prompts to raise a trouble ticket.
Community Moderators are available from Monday-Friday 8 am(Eastern) to 12 am(Eastern) and Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am(Eastern) to 10 pm(Eastern)
