Hi
j was charged $25 plus tax for mg plan instead of the $18 plus tax that it should be. Could you please look in to this for me? Thank you!

The new rewards program has started. No more auto pay or legacy rewards.
You now get 5% back in points, 10 once every year, 1 point for every referral. And you need to manually cash in for $15 off, it is not automatic any more.
The points you earn will be credited to your account after you pay to be use towards your next bill rather than before when it would be taken off the current month.

@HeloiseFT yes, please check My Rewards for the points you earn in this new system. Usually the 5% points will be added first. Friend referral points could be added later, within 48 hours

I am sorry I guess I am not understanding. They are not remaining if I am now paying the full amount. Or should I wait to see in 48hrs what I get in points?

@HeloiseFT the "remain" they meant are those you already earned and already in the Available Funds will stay. But the way to earn rewards in this new system will now be different, as said above. And please check your My Rewards transaction 2 days after renewal and you will see the points earned from the renewal

I I saw that but was completely unaware that I would loose all my rewards I received to this point and be charged more again. One of the questions says do I lose rewards and it says no that they remain and applied to future bills.

you might have missed the announcement back in March
PM retired the old reward system this month (May) and everyone migrated on the new Public Points system.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/move-to-public-points
With this new system, you pay the full amount first (with the Available Funds on your My Account or via your credit/debit card on the system), and hence you see a higher charge now.
Then PM will give you the points to your point account after renewal within 48 hours. Once you collected 15 points, you can redeem $15 bill payment yourself to bring the next payment down. Or you can also use points to buy add-ons with a discounted price
For how to earn points with Public Points,
I have to admit Public Points rewards is not as good as the Legacy rewards system, but you are still saving money, just in a slower pace
Here is more information about the rewards system migration:
