Changed number/ wrong province

Switched carriers to Public Mobile . I told them keeping my old number was imperative. They said they could do that. Instead, they changed my number and what is worse my new unwanted number is an Alberta area code. A province I have never been to. I cannot submit a ticket to speak with a customer service rep. I have no idea what is going on. I need help right away. Please, someone help me!

@parni  use one of  the links that I or others have left here on this thread to contact support and get help that way if number not working

Keep in mind that the area code on your account will be charged the provincial taxes. Alberta has one of the lowest taxes so you will be paying more based on the area code you want the number switch to.

the phone just keeps ringing and ringing. No one is picked up. I entered in my new number but no one is answering. Any advice would be unbelievably helpful.

I joined about a month ago. I spoke with my old carrier and confirmed the number change. Not really sure what more I could have done.

how long you joined? if a month ago, it could be you missed the sms approval with your old carrier

but you can check with PM porting support team and confirm the status or update the info if needed.   I will send you the number to PM Porting support team  Please check
