Hello
My name is Matheus. My public mobile phone number is 289-xxx-xxxx, and I would like to change my plan from the $10 to the $25 on my next due date (Nov 21). I have enough funds in my account to do so and I have already selected the preferred option in my account to change my plan. How could I proceed? Please, thank you.

@matheusneves I'm just going to throw this out there at you and let you mull it over for the next 24 hours or so.....might seem a little crazy but here goes. As you have been well informed by my fellow community members once you change from your current $10 plan you cannot get it back. For good reasons its probably not that much of a concern for you...you need to use your phone more, a little chunk of data and only $15 more per month. Only consider my proposal if you are not beholden to your phone number. There are many people who want that $10 plan that cannot and probably will never be able to sign up for it unless pm changes their mind and brings it back...I believe that is unlikely. In a way it has extra value or at the very least you could be helping another member of the community out by getting grandma, tweenybobber cousin Chloe or great uncle George a low cost, low use phone plan. In the meantime while looking for that person whether in your own family or circle of friends or the general public you don't change your plan to the $25. Instead keep it at $10, refer yourself and activate a new account using the $10 off for 6 months promotion. You could activate the $35 and get the extra 500mb and still pay after the discount $25 ($23w/autopay) if you need more data the following month you could bump up by $5 to the $40 plan with 5gb and pay $30/$28w/ap. I usually recommend just taking the 5gb plan because it's value but with the promo you can upgrade with no penalty but if you downgrade you will lose the discount. By then you will be able to "sell off" the $10 plan to someone happy to have it. You could also partially recover any rewards associated with it (at least $1p/m if you refer yourself). A bit of a crazy idea but other than paying a few more dollars up front you would get either 50% more data for the same price (the self referral credit covers the new SIM cost) or 5x more data for $5 more per month. I wouldn't be surprised if someone would be willing to pay at least $50 to take over your $10 account and with Xmas coming up.....Why $50? or more? $25 for the credit in the account+$3 for tax+$10 as a minimum premium for giving up your ph#+$12($1×12 months)for your referral (s) (×rewards)=$50. Just something to think about......

Sounds as though you are all set. Don't let the fact that your self serve account will continue to quote the old $$ amount necessary to do your renewal. That is normal, it doesn't update that until you are switched to the new plan.

Sounds like you're set. The morning of your new term should show that you're on the plan you want.
Be aware that the $10 plan is no longer available. You won't be able to go back to it.

If you've made the change to take affect at your next renewal...there's nothing more to do but wait until the change happens.
