Hello I followed all the instructions to change my home adress, I really need to do it but it doesn't change, it says invalid, I have tried just with postal code, with the city, the street, all the combinations and it doesn't work. I don't like public mobile since you can't do anything. Everything send error and we're paying, it's not free. Very bad service. If I can't solve this problem I'll finish this cicle and I hope I can cancel my plan.

I suppose @Luddite, if they're able to get a hold of someone at public mobile for that information 🤔
I believe Emergency Services method of locating a person is more available, reliable, and prompt.
My reply was moreso toward wondering why it was so important to the OP - I wonder if there was another reason?

@dust2dust wrote:@Luddite- Address would be used for landline (whether copper, fibre, cable, cell base-unit) and fixed, non-mobile voip services. 911 will ask your location on a cellphone. They can do some triangulation and if you have your gps on. It's not accurate. But otherwise not. As far as I understand currently anyway 🙂
I can't confirm this, but it wouldn't make sense that they wouldn't have access to the address saved on the Public Mobile account. As for emergency services asking for your location when calling from a cell phone, they will also ask if someone calls from a POTS (or VoIP) landline.

@HALIMACS May be important to some people if they need 911 to locate their home address. VoIP services regularly remind customers to keep home address updated for that reason.

Why is it so important for you to change your address - it means nothing toward the service here.
Indeed, it's strange there's even a field for it since any user can put ANTHING they want in those fields as they are not confirmed nor checked nor verified in any way.

Yes the address is an autofill. Build it out until it finds you. I don't think the space between unit and street is correct. I think there's no space. Street directions can be tricky. Try different variations. But let it find you as you add more.

did you try to just type in partial address and let the lookup finish it for you?
And if you are living in apartment, the format should be 101 - 123 ABC Street

Worst case, message support and see if they can manually change it for you

HI @Catag0
the address is not really useful, this is prepaid provider and cannot be used to proof for govt anyway
