My husband and i have been having trouble with cellular data. I have an iphone and he has an andriod. Yesterday we both could not get on the internet or use any aps. And the same this is happening today. Turned off and on airplane mode as well as the cellular data. Works for a few minutes and then cuts out.
Any ideas????
Thanks

I checked my mobile data this morning, and it seems the service has been restored after 1.5 days without service. I’m not experiencing any issues right now, and I didn’t do anything to fix it, so I suspect PM had an issue on their side.

I am in Ontario and having the same issue. It only works after i reset the network settings and then reset the phone and then it will happen again. Anyone know what the issue is and when it might be fixed ?

Seeing this as well. Happened yesterday to both the wife and I, we re-booted, had data, then both lost data as we traveled in the vehicle. Brutal.

Nope which is strange because I had an active ticket but the second I mentioned this problem it's gone silent

We have three phones with Public Mobile and all three have been not working since Sunday when not connected to wifi. We have tried all of the fixes posted but no luck. Has anyone actually received help from Public Mobile to resolve this issue?

You just one if those experiencing data issue this week. PM having some Mobile data problems in some area
Try Reboot phone and Reset Network Settings
If still loss connection, try changing network mode to 4g or LTE and reboot phone once more

Also try to leave it with LTE or 4G

Luck of the draw then

Not true. I am on the move today and it works. So far, just rebooted once and working
05-27-2026 07:48 AM
This only works until you lose connection to your current tower. If you're on the move at all, this does not fix the problem and only works for some phones. PM needs to fix this.

For now , reboot phone and Reset Network Settings and if will work
Might need to do it couple times during the day

I am having the same issue. Tried resetting connections, no help. I've submitted a ticket..

Oh my god it's not just me! I keep having to manually change network settings in the root of my phone and manually turn off the radio signals before
restarting the phone TWICE to get it to work at 0 bars. The second I move more than 20 feet the connection breaks and I have to redo that whole process 😭😭

Same problem from where I am in Ontario!! It's been going on for several days.

So an odd thing. I have an iphone and previously I had service with Bell Mobile with a physical SIM card. When with Bell, all of my mobile games would work with mobile data. Since I switched to Public with an eSim only a few of my mobile games will work with the mobile data and the rest cannot connect. Mobile data works for everything else (internet, email, other games, etc.).
I've done all the regular things like toggle airplane mode, turn the phone on and off, disable and then reenable the cellar data permissions for the games/apps. Nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions???

Hello,
My cellular data stopped working this morning, May 26. I have tried restarting my phone, removing and reinserting the SIM card, and toggling cellular data on and off, but the issue has not been resolved.
Is there an anticipated date or time for the service to be restored?
Thank you.

I had this issue today. I couldnt get any help. I didnt restart my phone but I toggled basically all my data related settings (VoLTE eSIM) (not roaming lol) , I toggled my physicalSIM card on and off. Same with airplane mode I also changed my acces point to manual, then back to auto. Im not sure which of these did the trick or if you phone has these same options but whatever I did there worked and seems to still be working... (5-10 mins ago now)
I hope this helps...I have had a heck of a time trying to get anywhere with this today myself.

I tried turning off my phone and turning on airplane mode but then I reset my network settings and it worked!
05-26-2026 10:39 PM
Yeah just today my data isn't working! My bill was paid automatically overnight so it should be connected and reset.
05-26-2026 10:37 PM
Yes! Our family is experiencing the exact same issue with all of our cell phones

just double-checked with my wife — and it turns out she's having the same issue now! No mobile data on her end either. Interestingly though, she says she had it working fine at her work today, so it might be a location-related issue or some intermitted glitch... 🤔

My wife and I haven’t had any cellular data - period - for the last two days. Were wondering what’s going on as well.

ikr im in waterloo and everyone i know has this issue. like is it the carriers prblem? even if i try everything it only works for a couple seconds:(
05-26-2026 10:11 PM
hi @KrysNel
not everyone, I think only some customers in selected area. Which city you are in?
05-26-2026 10:11 PM
Sorry just seen you said your wife and you had the same plan, same GB oer month... so not plan related
05-26-2026 10:09 PM
Not even powering your phone off and back on? Aggravating to have to do it multiple times per day. Doesn't seem to be specific phone type related or area related either. Strange indeed. Sime glitch with Public Mobile. Wondering if plan type related?? Spouse has 50 gb per month in his plan. I pay 3 months in advance and have 225gb for that time frame.
