Cell signal lost on multiple phones

Hi,

My cell service has dropped down over the last few months.  I have 2 phones in the house.

1 iPhone 13 shows SOS 90% of the time at home.  While the Google pixel 6 show 1-2 bars most of the time.  I notice today in town I had no signal for about 10 mins.  Its back again.

We tried the basic steps

All software patches are applied

Removed cases

Rebooted phones

Swapped SIM cards

Turned off the cellular and turned back on...turned on airplane mode and back off

My sister called today and her and her husband are having the same problems.  She said it's been going on for about a month.  I think ours is more like 2 or 3 months.

I'm not sure is this is the right place to post or ask for help.

Straight line to a telus tower I'm 1.4 miles according to google.    I'm the blue dot in the picture.

I'm going to try and reset the worst phone tonight.  Wipe everything and see what happens.

@roydaigle

Maybe try a network reset of your phones.  Note: this will erase your saved Wifi passwords.

Or you could check the cell phone tower map to see where is the nearest cell tower:

try the different network mode on the phone: 5G Auto, 5G On, 4G (or LTE)

hi @roydaigle

if for multiple phones, it could be a network problem in your area.  Where are you at?

check if you see any outage where you are:
https://www.telus.com/en/bc/outages

quite some area in AB has problem with Mobile
