So I switched my phone the other night from ROgers to Public Mobile. And My phone shows every indicator that it is on Public However, I cannot get texts like banking verifications. And Roger’s show that phone still under my account. So I called Roger’s and indeed they say the phone is still active. If I phone *611 I get public mobile though, public mobile thinks I am on public mobile but rogers thinks I am still with them. I think I just need another port request to pull again however, I will not be able to answer a text from Roger’s now to confirm YES.

So I called yesterday, I could not speak to anyone; however, the system asked me to put in the number and I did. It said there was no porting requests for this number, and then it said enter the number again, I did and then it said we are having issues, please call back later. I will try again today. It is so weird because everything works on the public mobile side EXCEPT the texts coming into the line go into the abyss. So I am sure as some of you have stated it is a partial port done. I am going to try again and I will update later

The bank may require you to set up the phone (again) as a trusted device.
It may see the new SIM as a different phone(?)

Your Rogers SIM should still work if porting wasn’t completed.
You need leave the Rogers SIM will n your phone to reply with YES confirming you are porting over to PM. There is a 90 minute window for you to reply or porting will be charge partial completed.
So wait for the CS_Agent to restart the porting process for you or call the number that was pm to you.

I should have mentioned, I did try to submit a ticket but I don’t know the old sim number either. And for some reason it stated there was an error submitting the ticket.
