@CoreyBurns ,

I would be concerned about SIM fraud, after reading your post. I hope it is not!

Good suggestions by others. Please follow the trouble shooting to see what the fix may or may not be.

See info. here (I believe @HALIMACS lists this check in one of their points as well):

I don't believe that's the case here. Unless the customer doesn't use data, the OP would likely also be saying that data doesn't work either.

@computergeek541 maybe, maybe not. I am sure there are many mobile users out there that don't even toggle on their data capability.

That's the magic question, @computergeek541 & @esjliv

The subject line says "can receive them fine", yet the post suggests "stopped being able to send and receive text or phone calls", so there's some discrepancy here.

which plan you have,  maybe you already used up all text messages, but you still can receive, not send. if this is not the case, try re-boot your phone.

Try this step-by-step troubleshooting (some may be irrelevant, i.e. #5):

  1. Make sure airplane mode is off
  2. Power OFF your device, wait 1 minute, turn on and check for signal bars
  3. Check on account self-serve that your account status is "Active"
  4. Check that SIM card number matches the SIM card number in your phone.  This requires Moderator assistance to confirm SIM# registered to account.
  5. Make sure the device is not locked to a different carrier
  6. Make sure you’re in a covered area and there are no cellular outages
  7. Change Wi-Fi calling preferences to Cellular Preferred or Cellular Only
  8. Set network mode to Auto
  9. Reset network settings

In addition to Dunkman's excellent suggestions, make sure all of your apps are updated as per https://www.theverge.com/2021/3/22/22345696/google-android-apps-crashing-fix-system-webview. There were some weird symptoms happening yesterday and this morning for some folks on Android but the updates should fix it up.

A few things to try:

Network reset of phone

Toggle airplane mode on, then off

Can also try your SIM card in another phone.  This helps determine whether hardware setup issue versus PM service problem.
