I made this account to set up a phone number for a family member that needs help setting up cell service
every time i click the plan they want it says this:
WE ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR PROCESSING YOUR REQUEST.

Just install public mobile app and do there

If you are activating your SIM on the website on your computer. To complete the activation on the PM app. Once you have completed the activation, they can manage their account on the website in the future.

@JJJJJJJJJJJJJ , have you downloaded the Public Mobile app & tried it there? The app is required to setup a new account now! I included the link below if you haven’t downloaded it yet.
