Hi there,
I never saw the further information that activations of a new plan needs to happen by a certain date and not by the sim card purchase date. Is it possible I can just go to the store to pick up a sim card in order to receive the 12months12gb plan, and just cancel the online sim card purchase i just did.

If you managed to cancel your SIM purchase from PM -AND- received refund you will be OK.
Then just find PM SIM at retailer and buy it there.
But if your order is processed I doubt PM will refund you money and SIM purchase is final sale. If you worry about ordering service with promotion perks get SIM from retail and when order arrives you will have backup SIM.

@michasmac Cancelling a small order may not be worth the headache.. keep it as a spare.. find a Telus/ Koodo store an purchase another…

sim card purchase is usually no refund. You can try to message them here:

and yes, don't wait, just go to a store (Telus or Koodo) and get one. But call them first, not all stores carry PM sim
