hi @jerrybearmorin they won't refund, it is prepaid service here
But since you didn't use the service, you can just call your credit card and ask for a charge back. Once it is charged back, you get the money back from CC and your account here will be closed

@jerrybearmorin Please remove your person info (phone num and email) as this is a public forum. Hope you can get a refund, but PM is under no obligation as this is a prepaid service. Good luck! 🙂

@jerrybearmorin , just to be sure that I understand you correctly, are you saying that you activated a new Public Mobile account with your new SIM card, new phone number, new email address & new cell phone instead of doing a SIM swap on your account of your lost phone? You could have signed on that account & did a SIM swap (change SIM card #) of that account, asked a CSA to change your email address to your new one & used your new phone on that account! Either way I would sign onto it & select Report Lost / Stolen Phone to avoid it being used & avoid autopay from taking money from your payment card to renew the plan! Ask a CSA to remove your payment card from your account. After 90 days of non payment on that account it will be permanently closed.
Or did I misunderstand your post? I’m sorry if it did. You can still sign onto your account using the previous email address & password. Unless you have Two-factor authentication at login enabled then you need a CSA to help you with your account.

hi @jerrybearmorin you want to stop the service? or you want to get a new PM sim card and link your old phone number to your existing accounts?
if you are staying with PM, you need to login My Account and request change sim card
if you really want to cancel PM service as you already have another new provider, you will need to login to My Account and disable pre-authorized payments
If you are unable to login , please submit ticket with CS agent
at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.
First type Forgot Login,
then select the only choice there: "Contact..",
finally click link the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .
After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM
If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can open ticket by private message (but this can take longer):

@jerrybearmorin Do you have a laptop or desktop computer you can logon to your Pub Mobile account with? If so you can go to profile and select that the phone is lost/stolen. It will suspend service. If you have a new phone, you'll need to buy a new SIM. Once you've received the SIM, logon and take the account out of lost/stolen. Register the new SIM number with your account, insert SIM into your phone and you should be good to go.
