Cannot call/receive calls

Have checked that my account is active, plenty of data, turned it off and on again, toggled airplane mode off/on, all of that. Text still working.

Have noticed in the past 48 hrs there's some heat spikes, and in the previous (to the 48hrs) had been getting spam calls in Eng/Chinese stating that due to suspicious activity my phone number would not work soon unless I pressed button x an spoke to a rep. Assuming it was spam, I did not. 

What gives? Great service from PM for nearly 3yrs, now one very core feature seems disabled. How do I get it back and does anyone know what could be wrong? In the GTA.

It's a 5G, thanks. I appreciate everyone chiming in. 

I've got a communication going with a CS agent, hopefully should have an answer within 48hrs. I'l post back with anything new.

Do you have the LG Velvet 4G or Velvet 5G phone?

Thank you for the link to the outage map! I'm close to some shenanigans, so maybe. It's a LG Velvet less than 5yrs old, so I thought would be okay for a bit. I appreciate your response.

LG Velvet phone, in Toronto. Did try resetting Network settings, no joy. But will have to get another phone to try my sim card, good idea!

PM is an online service and staff will never call so it is a scam.

PM is changing the 3G frequency so if you have an older phone. It could be affected.

But also check for outages in your area:

what phones you have and where you are at?

there has been some posts about voice problem in the last couple days 

did you try Reset Network Settings? or try sim card on another phone to test.
