I do have Canada-wide calling on my plan and when I call a number in another province that is in the coverage area, the recording says "8UV1, your call cannot be completed, please check you number or call again".
I have called this number on my land line and it works perfectly??

Are you calling western Canada? The network issues are all being reported from here.

There's been reporting of customers having no connection to the network on and off today. The message you are getting is that customer not being able to receive calls. Presumably because there are network issues today.

Test a few numbers out in the Province you called, there hasn't seemed to be an issue regarding Canada Wide calling. I just called NS with no issue.
