Canada-us minutes

My plan says I have unlimited canada-us minutes, does this mean I won't get charged if I'm in america?

you can use your phone for voice/text/data in US just like you are home in Canada, no extra charge

just make sure your phone connects to T-Mobile/AT&T/Verizon and better use 4G/LTE.  And make sure you turn on Roaming data on your phone
