I have purchased a Canadian / US plan. I have been in the US since 24th Oct. I can receive data but have been unable to make or receive phone calls. I do have a 5 G phone. I tried to issue a ticket but get an error each time. Can somebody please help as I’m very frustrated at this point & will be mad if I just wasted $50

Critical part to US roaming depends on T-Mobile/AT&T coverage and whether you can connect successfully onto either network.
With your voice issue, make sure VoLTE is enabled on the device setting. And if it does not work, try to change the Network to T-Mobile ONLY, and change Preferred Network Type or Network Mode to 2G and see if the calls go through.
Also, you can download VoIP app TextNow as a workaround to make calls and text if you have Wifi or if your roaming has data component and data is working

You need to set your cellular roaming to T-Mobile or AT&T.

Set your Preferred Network to 4G/LTE vs 5G. AT&T 5G doesn't seem to be working, so if you're phone automatically connected to that you likely won't have data.

I had the same issue when I was in LA few weeks ago, all you have to do is go to Setting > Cellular > Network selection and manually select the network.
That what worked for me but I have so do this everyday to make my data and talk works, just switch between the auto and manual selection.
