I live in Vancouver, BC. But I have Saskatchewan area code phone number. My current provider is Telus and I’m trying to port my phone number over to PM but it fails.

@funpig1 wrote:PM might be preventing you from transferring your Saskatchewan number while your physical location is in British Columbia.
For example, a person located in British Columbia cannot take advantage of subscribing for a cheaper plan available in Quebec. I am just speculating, but you may need to go back to Saskatchewan to carry out the transfer.
Try messaging an agent and if you do not get a response, try telephoning the porting assistance number.
There are no restrictions about having a phone number from any province even if you're going to use it in a difference province. Also, the porting assistance phone number should not be called when there is no active number port in progress.

No, you can port your number from another province. Just that you will available with plans and price based on your location. "Your location" is base on the address link with the credit card, and has nothing to do with the phone number area code people trying to port in

This is Public Mobile not Freedom Mobile. If you want to port over to Freedom. You need to talk to Freedom to contact Telus to confirm the porting.

your 306 number is a Canadian one, but some numbers cannot be transferred into PM (some technical restriction)
you should provide the phone number for PM to confirm.
Since you cannot properly login, you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket. So, you will need to message them here:
