Can’t receive or send calls

I’m not able to receive or send calls but I can text. I’ve tried changing phone settings but that doesn’t seem to be the issue. I replaced my SIM card but that didn’t solve the problem. Help!

Could there be a problem with my PM account?

Why did you replace the SIM? You don’t need to so find out what was wrong with the old SIM first. Rarely there are problems with the SIM.

Could we get more detail of your issue?

Did you recently ported your old number over to PM?

Are you a longtime member?

Are you new to Public Mobile? Did you port over your number from another provider? Have you been with Public Mobile a while and this just came out of the blue?

Try this. Go to Settings, Network Settings, uncheck AUTOMATIC, then pick Public Mobile. Exit out of there and restart the phone. See if this works.

Does your data work?   Not wifi, data.

It's possible the 'texting' you mention is iMessage and not SMS (text messaging)

If it is, what messaging do you hear when you dial 611 from the device?

Maybe an outage. Did you try the sim in another phone? Can you text in and out? Browse internet not on wifi?

Adding - try changing to 3G WCDMA UMTS.
